Charla con el Artista Oliver Blank
Oliver Blank is sound artist, composer and designer who performs public art installations and composes cinematic symphonic music. Born in Manchester, England, currently lives and works in San Francisco. His work has been exhibited at Design Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and Tate Gallery (UK); Taidehalli (Finland); and Museum of Contemporary Art Coruna (Spain), among others.
In his works try re-creating the public space mean sound installations that invite city residents to get involved with sound to create an extraordinary experience in daily life.
In this talk, the artist will show some of its audio and visual works and share their ideas about the possibilities of music, public art and museums as new ways of knowing the landscape, generate reports and link new narratives in common.
