Mundo mashup: la remezcla musical en el siglo XXI

Curso en línea

 

Se analizarán las principales estrategias, formas, expresiones y consecuencias de la remezcla musical que circula en redes sociales y plataformas, así como el impacto que su propagación ha tenido en la sociedad sobre diversos aspectos como lo auténtico, la originalidad y la autoría. También se revisará el papel de ésta dentro de la cultura digital participativa, la economía de la atención, la posverdad y el capitalismo de vigilancia.

El taller contará con cinco sesiones que en total suman 9 horas con 30 minutos.

 

Al término del curso el participante mostrará la aplicación de los instrumentos de análisis aprendidos. Se otorgará constancia a los alumnos que cumplan con el 100% de asistencia a las sesiones.

Rubén López Cano

Profesor y tutor. Investigador sobre música y la relación del individuo con lo musical. Se ha especializado en retórica y semiótica musicales, filosofía de la cognición corporizada de la música, música popular urbana, reciclaje musical desde la edad media hasta la era mashup, memes y cultura musical digital, musicología audiovisual, diáspora, cuerpo y subjetividad musicales, investigación artística y epistemología de la investigación musical.

 

Es autor de diversos artículos académicos y de los libros Música plurifocal (México, JGH, 1997); Música y retórica en el Barroco (Barcelona, Amalgama, 2012); Cómo hacer una comunicación, ponencia o paper y no morir en el intento (Barcelona, SIbE, 2012); Investigación artística en música problemas, experiencias y propuestas, realizado en coautoría con Úrsula San Cristóbal (Barcelona, Fonca-Esmuc, 2014); y Música dispersa. Apropiación, influencias, robos y remix en la era de la escucha digital (Barcelona, Musikeion books, 2018).

 

Dirigió la revista TRANS- Revista Transcultural de Música (2005-2013) y codirige la Colección Instrumentos para la Investigación Musical, ambas publicaciones de la SIbE-Sociedad de etnomusicología. Pertenece a los consejos asesores de las revistas L’ESMuC digital (Barcelona); Boletín Música (Casa de las Américas, Cuba); ESCENA, Revista de las artes (Costa Rica); Música Popular em Revista (Brasil); LIS-Letra, imagen, sonido/Ciudad mediatizada (Argentina); Revista ARTilugio (Argentina); Epistemus (Argentina); Co-herencia (Colombia); Resonancias (Chile), Vox Popular (Italia); TRANS- Revista Transcultural de Música (España); e Impar: Online Journal on Artistic Research (Portugal).

 

Desde 2003 es profesor de tiempo completo en la Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. Colabora regularmente como docente, conferencista, investigador y asesor para diferentes instituciones y proyectos en Europa y América Latina.
